About Systemwide Digital Library Services

Systemwide Digital Library Services manages information discovery systems and services across all CSU campuses, including the virtual union catalog, link resolver, metasearch system, and digital repositories. The unit actively researches, develops, and implements new technologies in the areas of information discovery, content acquisition, and digital preservation, in coordination with the CSU libraries and Academic Technology Services.

About SEIR

The systemwide procurement and contracting effort is currently coordinated and managed by the SEIR group (Systemwide Electronic Information Resources) of the Educational Technology Services Cooperative. The program allows SEIR to negotiate and contract on behalf of the CSU campus libraries and academic departments. Information resources are identified and brought to the University for further review under a process developed by the CSU Electronic Access to Information Resources Committee (EAR), a standing subcommittee reporting to The Council of Library Directors (COLD). (For CSU only: Please see CSU COLD Intranet for various COLD documents. Contact SEIR-Mail for username and password). | More |
